As my brother came to me with his latest hair cut and asked me - How i am looking in this haircut??? He has square shape face and the haircut what he was done is not suits him. Haircut changes the facial looks and as you all know that there is nothing worse than getting your wrong haircut.

Each person is different and face shapes vary massively. Look in the mirror, you will find out the right hair cut can do for your face shape although you don't follow the latest hair style.

Men’s Hairstyle for your Face Shape-

Here, I discuss the general guidelines for choosing the perfect hairstyle for different types of men's face shapes. I hope you will relate them to your hairstyles. Mainly, there are Seven distinctive shapes that all men's faces can be categorized.

Oval Face Shape

 

Oval shape face is considered to be the ideal face shape for anyone. It is proportionally well-balanced face shape, so it suits any hairstyle in any shape or length. You have the freedom to experiment with your haircut or hair style. This is one shape that is best left completely uncovered by hair, so avoiding heavy bangs or full length fringe, as this can make the face looks so rounder. This face shape looks best with a classic short cut or short on the side, and slightly longer on top, either with a side swept part or not. The trick is to not wear your hair down on your forehead, but backwards. Creating some angles and volume on top can sharpen the face a little bit.

Square Face Shape

 
Men's with a square face shape is considered to be strong and masculine. Square shape faces are marked by the strong jaw-line and the hairline on the forehead forming a square, which makes the face appear chiseled and angular in appearance. Like oval face shape, a square face shape suits a wide range of hair styles, but choosing a hairstyle for square faces consists of finding ways to soften the edges.

A tight and short haircut looks good on your face shape. It enhances your facial features but I would strongly advise not to style the hair in a center parting or with a heavy fringe if you have this face shape. Keep the bangs off the forehead. 

Oblong Face Shape

An oblong face shape is slightly longer than an oval face shape.For your face shape, it is important to keep this in mind when choosing your haircut that always avoid taking the sides too short if you want to keep length on top, it make your face appear even more longer.

Your face shape suits having the hair styled onto the face to reduce the appearance of length and maintain balance. You should choose a haircut or hair style that adds volume to the sides of the face. Hair style with a full fringe will help to maintain balance on your face and add volume where it is needed. Try medium length haircut will be easier to style in a manner that flatters your face.

Round Face Shape

Round face shape has no angles or prominent lines, so it is important to choose a hair style that can be worn with a bit of height or hair style create the illusion of height and angles. Short sides and longer on top hair cut is good for you, it creates height and length to your face. You will also try a messy V- shaped hair style, it suits your face shape.

Diamond Face Shape

Men with a diamond facial shape have prominent wide cheekbones and narrower foreheads and chins. You should be chosen the hair style that add width at the forehead and chin while narrowing your cheekbones.

Avoid any hair cut that is too sharp around the edges which emphasizes your ears, as this will create the illusion that the ears stick out. Try choosing a haircut with a swept fringe and layers on top to add volume.

Heart Face Shape

Heart shaped face is wide at the both temples and hairline like the diamond face shape. Mostly, hair stylist suggest for this face shape is longer hair or hair styles which intended to add volume below your cheekbones. Avoid short hair styles that tend to emphasize the upper part of the face. Square haircut is good for your face shape and balanced it.
 

The best way to balance your face shape would be to grow some form of facial hair. Stubble or a short beard would help to maintain the proportions between the upper and lower halves of your face. If you do decide to go for a shorter style, ask for a square haircut to try and balance the face shape.

Triangular Face Shape

Triangular face shape is just opposite of a heart shaped face, men with this face shape have a wide jaw-line and narrow forehead. Hair Styles that add width at forehead and temples and volume on top usually look best for your face shape. Longer hairstyles is best for this face shape, with plenty of layers which gives broadness and volume on the top. You should avoid layering too much around your face as this will only enhances your jaw-line.

• Apply coconut oil on your lips and massage them in a circular manner. After massaging 5 min., rub warm wet soft cloth on you lips. It exfoliates all dead skin and scale from your lips.
• Take some drops of coconut oil, apply on your lips several times daily. Coconut oils provides relief from soreness and itching on your dry cracked lips.

Vaseline 

Vaseline petroleum jelly is the perfect choice for lips with any type of lips problem. I always use petroleum jelly as a lip guard through out the year. It available in different flavors and variety like rose lips, coco butter, aloe-Vera Vaseline. It forms protective layer and lock the moisture on my lips. It protect the lips from the dry-cold air and re-hydrates the skin of the lips.

• Apply Vaseline petroleum jelly on your lips and massage in a circular motion with the help of soft tooth-brush. It exfoliates your lips and make them extra soft. 
• Repeat this trick a couple times a day until your lips are no longer scaly.

It rejuvenates your skin without causing inflammation or irritation on your skin and makes your skin clean, clear and smooth.

How to make Gelatin Face Mask ?

For Gelatin face Mask, You will need- 

• 1 tbsp Unflavored gelatin (available at any grocery store)
• 2 tbsp milk
• 1 tbsp lemon juice (avoid if you have sensitive skin)
• 1 small bowl 
• 1 spoon

Steps-

• First, Wash your face with lukewarm water, remove all makeup and dirt. 
• Take a bowl, mix all ingredients with the help of spoon.
• Mix until the gelatin has a thick and goopy consistency.
• Microwave the mixture for around 10 seconds. You will get something glue like mixture.
• If you don't want to microwave it, than mix all with warm water.
• Now, apply this mixture to your face. Let the mixture dry for about 10- 15 min.
• After drying, peel it off gently and wash your face with lukewarm water.

Remember: 

• Gelatin becomes harden fast after heating, so apply fast on your face. Don't store the mixture.
• Always skip the eyebrows and under-eye areas. On peeling, the hair on your face also removed with the dried gelatin layer.
• Before use this face mask, you should experiment on a small area on the first try. 
• After face washing, apply moisturizer on your face and neck.

Take 2 tbsp fresh cucumber juice, add 1 tbsp lemon juice and add 1 tbsp rose water, mix it well in a bowl. Apply this mixture on your face, neck or tanned areas with the help of cotton. Leave it for 10- 15 minutes than wash with cold water. You can use this pack daily.

Lemon consists of acidic property which acts as a natural beach in lightening the tan and remove excessive oil . Cucumber and rose water acts as a cooling agents  for soothing the damaged skin.

Papaya and honey face pack-

For this face pack, first wash and peel the ripe papaya, than mash it with hand or blend it with the help of blender to get the smooth pulp. Take ½ cup of this smooth pulp of papaya, add 1 tbsp of honey and mix well. Apply this pack on your clean face, and leave it for half an hour till becomes dried. Now wash your face with water.

Papaya contains some enzymes in it which helps in skin whitening, exfoliation and restoration. 

Honey is anti bacterial and provides moisturization to the skin.

Besan (Bengal Gram Flour) face pack –

Take 2 tbsp besan, add a pinch of turmeric, add 1 tbsp milk, add 1 tbsp rose water and mix it well in a bowl. Apply this pack on your face, neck and tanned areas. Let it dry for 15- 20 minutes. After drying, sprinkling water on it and slowly remove the pack by scrubbing smoothly in a circular manner. You can use this face pack twice in a week. 

Besan is very effective in removing tanning and turmeric is antiseptic which helps in healing damaged skin.

Tomato and yogurt face pack- 

Take 2 tbsp fresh tomato pulp, add 1 tbsp yogurt, add 1 tbsp lemon juice, mix all in a bowl. Apply this pack on your face and neck. Leave it for 15 minutes than wash it with cold water.

Tomato is very Beneficial for our skin, it works as a skin toner to shrink the bigger pores and also reduce the oiliness of our skin.

Altogether, tomato, yogurt and lemon works as a natural bleach and removing pigmentation and dark spots from our skin.

Red Lentil with aloe vera face pack-

For this, take a 2 tbsp red lentil and soak it in a water for 1 hour, than make a rough paste of it. Add 1 tbsp fresh aloe Vera gel and mix well. Apply this pack on your face and neck, massage it for a minute. Leave it for 20 minutes than rinse off with water.

Red lentil has cleaning property and aloe Vera provides coolness . It's help in removing tan and rejuvenates your skin.

Fuller’s Earth (Multani Mitti) with Aloe Vera Face pack-

 

Take 2 tbsp fullers earth powder, add 1 tbsp aloe Vera gel and mix it well. Now add few drops of rose water, make a paste . You can also add 1 tbsp sandal wood powder to it. Apply this paste on face and neck, after it dry, wash with cold water.

Fuller earth powder is very good for our skin. It cools and sooth the skin burn or in irritation. It also prevents  the pimples and acne to reduce the extra oil from our skin. 

Aloe Vera is natural cleanser and helps in lightening skin tone.

All these face packs are very effective in removal of skin tanning. Try it at your home but you must remember that it takes time to heal. This is not a chemical bleach like that shows instant effect. Add these in your daily skin care routine for effective and desirable results.
